FASTA is a brand of FASTA (Pty) Ltd. Listed in the NCR register of credit providers, no. NCRCP10591 (Registered); checked 7 Oct 2026.

FASTA registration and login

You register by starting an application. On fasta.co.za pick an amount and instalments with the sliders, click “Apply now!” and enter your South African ID number on the “Get Started” page; the ID number is your username. New customers are asked for personal details, existing customers for their password. FASTA calls the process “entirely self-service”.

FASTA’s FAQ lists who can apply: a valid SA ID number, age 18 or older, a minimum monthly salary over the last three months (the figure is in the requirements above), a bank account in your own name, and a valid email address and mobile number.

  • Face ID Check. During the application FASTA runs a Face ID Check (“proof of life”) to confirm you are a real person applying for yourself. It takes about 10 seconds and needs no preparation beyond allowing your browser to use the camera.
  • Bank statements. At the “Verify your salary” step you choose how to send three months of statements: upload them, share internet banking details (FASTA says it can only retrieve and review statements, not transact), email them to a unique FASTA address, or send them from your banking app. FASTA accepts only bank-generated PDFs.
  • Password reset. Click Login, then “Forgot Password”, enter your ID number, choose Email or SMS and follow the link. If the “Reset password” button stays grey, the two password fields do not match.
  • Unfinished application. FASTA cancels it after 7 days, or when you start a new one.

How fast FASTA pays out, weekends included

FASTA says it pays out “even when banks are closed. Weekends and public holidays included”, and that you “receive your payout in seconds once approved”. Its FAQ is more careful: the money is paid once FASTA approves the application and you have authorised every DebiCheck mandate, and it “generally should reflect within a minute or two”. All applications are “subject to affordability and credit checks”, so a decline is possible.

DebiCheck is a condition: all mandates for a loan must be authorised before FASTA grants it. FASTA may ask for more than one mandate per loan but collects one instalment a month. Want a second offer? Compare Crediwise, Creditbar and other online lenders on the loans list. For lenders that pay out on any day, see loans paid out on any day.

If FASTA declines you, its FAQ says the decision rests on your income, monthly credit obligations and living expenses, and suggests waiting another 30 days before applying again, because many credit enquiries in a short time can hurt your score.

FASTA settlement letter and paid-up letter

To settle early, FASTA says you have “complete flexibility to settle your FASTACash loan at any stage of the loan term”. The steps, from its FAQ:

  1. Log in on fasta.co.za, open “My loans” and the “Open” tab.
  2. Under “Open applications” click “Generate Settlement Letter”. The button turns grey while FASTA works and then reads “Download Settlement Letter”.
  3. Pay the exact amount in the letter, not the balance on screen: the balance may leave out the month’s service fees. Use “Pay with Instant EFT” on the open loan, or a manual payment with your loan reference and FASTA’s banking details from the “Manual Payment” option. After a manual payment, send the proof of payment through the Customer Support Portal.

Paid-up letter. After the loan is paid, open the “Paid” tab and click “Download Paid Up Letter”. FASTA does not send statements; they are under “My loans”.

FASTA contact number and how to reach FASTA

What is the FASTA contact number?

FASTA does not list a phone number in its FAQ or on its home page (checked 28 Oct 2026). It sends customers to the self-service Customer Support Portal, the “Support” link on fasta.co.za, open weekdays 08h00 to 17h00 and Saturdays 08h00 to 12h00, closed on Sundays and public holidays. Emails it lists: Collections@fasta.co.za if you cannot make a payment, and fraud@fasta.co.za for suspected fraud.

Can I change my FASTA payment date?

FASTA’s FAQ says that “at this stage” your payment date cannot be changed. For changed debit order details, contact the Customer Support Portal.

Do I have to accept the DebiCheck mandate?

Yes. FASTA says that if you do not authorise all DebiCheck mandates it cannot grant the loan, and that you approve them in your banking app or online banking.

Important information

Steps and eligibility come from the FASTA home page and FAQ (fasta.co.za), read on 28 Oct 2026. FASTA can change them. The amounts, repayment periods, example cost, minimum salary and registration number are in the blocks above, each with its source and date. A registered credit provider must assess whether you can afford a loan before it lends. Being listed in the NCR register is not an endorsement by the regulator or by Tasamira. Tasamira is a comparison site: it is not FASTA and does not decide loans.

  • A loan has to be repaid on time. Before you sign, check the interest rate, the initiation and monthly service fees, any credit life insurance and the total amount you will repay, and make sure the repayments fit your budget. If you pay late, the lender can add default interest and collection costs, and missed payments can be reported to credit bureaus. Under the National Credit Act, a lender must check that you can afford the loan. Check the lender in the NCR register before you apply.
