Privacy policy

Tasamira works without sign-up, forms or advertising cookies. This page explains which technical data we still receive, why, and who it is shared with.

Tasamira editorial team · Updated:

Who is responsible for the data

Tasamira is an independent project run by a private individual. The owner of the project is responsible for the processing of data on this site. Send any question about your data to hello@tasamira.com.

What we do not collect

You do not have to tell us anything about yourself to compare offers. The site has no sign-up, no user account and no forms asking for your name, phone number or ID number.

We do not use cookies, persistent browser storage (localStorage) or device fingerprinting. There is one exception: when you click a link in the menu or footer, or the header button, your browser keeps a marker in that tab's memory (sessionStorage) saying which part of the site you came from. The marker contains no identifier and is deleted as soon as the statistics for the next page are sent. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no other third-party trackers on the site.

We do not sell visitor data or share it for advertising.

Visit statistics

To see which pages are useful and where the site is slow, we keep our own statistics. When you view a page, your browser sends us: the page address, the address of the page you came from, campaign tags in the link (utm), screen and window size, browser language, time zone and connection type. When you leave the page, we receive how long you stayed, how far you scrolled, how many times you clicked buttons or links to offers, and page speed data.

From your IP address and browser data, the server works out your country and region, device type, browser and operating system (without the exact version). To count visits without cookies, the server calculates a short visit code from your IP address, browser data and a random key for the current day. The key changes every day and the old one is deleted, so visits on different days cannot be linked to each other.

We do not store the IP address itself or the full browser string (user agent) in the statistics. The statistics contain no names or contact details.

Server logs

Our web server keeps a technical log of requests: time, page address, previous page address, browser data and a shortened IP address (IPv4 without the last number, IPv6 only the first 48 bits). It is used to protect the site from attacks and to find errors. If a request fails, the full IP address may end up in a separate error log. Both logs are kept for up to 14 days and then deleted automatically. Statistics requests are not written to the request log.

When you go to a company's website

Links to lenders and other companies are affiliate links. They go through our /go/ address and then to the company's website, sometimes via an affiliate network (for example, LeadGid or Admitad).

When you click, we record which offer you chose, from which page, the country section and the time. We pass to the company and the network only a random click number, the address of our page and the offer's position in the list. That link does not contain your name, phone number, IP address or any other personal data.

The network may tell us, by that click number, how it ended, for example "application submitted". That message contains no data about you.

On the company's and the network's websites their own rules apply: they may use their own cookies and they receive whatever data you give them in your application. Read their privacy policy before you fill in the form.

If you write to us

If you write to hello@tasamira.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and to check the error you report. Email is forwarded by Cloudflare and stored by Google's email service. If you ask, we will delete the correspondence.

Who else processes data

Cloudflare: delivers the pages, protects the site from attacks and bots, and forwards email. Your IP address passes through Cloudflare; if Cloudflare shows an "are you human?" check, it may set its own technical cookie.

DigitalOcean: the site's server and database, in the United States.

Google: the project's mailbox. Google Search Console also shows us general search statistics, with no data about individual visitors.

The affiliate networks and the companies whose websites you go to (see above).

Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.

Cookies

Tasamira does not set or read cookies, which is why you will not see a cookie consent banner. A technical cookie can only be set by Cloudflare, when it shows an "are you human?" check, and by a company's website after you go to it, under its own rules.

Your rights

You can ask whether we hold data about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to hello@tasamira.com. We cannot pick out a specific person in the visit statistics: they contain no names, IP addresses or cookies.

If you believe we have not respected your rights, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Other

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

When the way we process data changes, we will update this page and its last-updated date.
